I have a son who is just over three years old. Although I honestly didn’t know if I was ever going to be a parent, the day my son was born, my entire world changed. If you are not a parent yet, this statement may sound really corny, but you will understand exactly what I’m talking about one day when you have your own child. The reason that your world changes is because you realize you are no longer the most important thing, and you have to be responsible for another human’s life.

Recently, I took a trip with my son to see my parents. They obviously love their grandson, and want to see him as often as possible. Since they live in California, we had to fly to LAX. I was nervous about taking my son on this trip, but he did really well. He was still in a good mood when we arrived at LAX, and fortunately I had made my car rental ahead of time, so I was able to pickup the rental car (with car seat) directly from LAX. It was nice seeing my parents, and also nice to get some sleep while they took care of my son when he woke up at night!
